And you can always dip your feet in the refreshing spring-fed creek!

My husband and I have stayed in the Ely Creek campground several times during the month of June. Dinosaur National Monument can be extremely hot in June, but we've also experienced cool and showery conditions.

You will need a free permit, available by calling Dinosaur National Monument, or you can try online.
We love Ely Creek. If you go, have a wonderful time! One Day in Americahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06908834658716123640noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4975306347330050350.post-3733686395294221202018-04-24T13:44:41.161-07:002018-04-24T13:44:41.161-07:00So I know this is an older post, but hopefully you...So I know this is an older post, but hopefully you see this! And how cool to spot ancient petroglyphs along the way!

I'm trying to imagine a T Rex or two galumphing across this landscape...Vickie Bateshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04935525489196514927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4975306347330050350.post-67304562498499384872012-06-13T11:59:06.619-07:002012-06-13T11:59:06.619-07:00You're right, John. It typifies my vision of the unpopulated areas of the Western U.S. It appears to me that this little piece of heaven offers something for everyone to enjoy!

John1HappyHikerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02242409292439585691noreply@blogger.com
