Tim and I drive through the town of Vernal every month, and each month we look forward to viewing "Dino" in his seasonal attire and adornments.
Last week I introduced readers to "Dino", the unofficial mascot of Vernal. In this post I present a photo essay of "Dino" as he is displayed throughout the year. Enjoy!

My favorite photos of Dina are: the one taken in May where he's holding an image of himself as a hatchling along with a Happy Mother's Day greeting; the photo taken when he's all aglow at nighttime.

I really like the Mother's Day "Dino", too. But I like them all!
I wonder who comes up with the costumes and accessories for the dinosaur—looks like it would be a fun job.

I especially like Santa Dino covered in snow. That picture was taken six years ago - we haven't had much snow for the past several years.

While Dino has been dressed for the seasons ever since Tim and I first traveled to Vernal—18 years ago this September—the extra accessories and props are a recent addition to the Dino display.
We really enjoy this roadside attraction while on our way to Craig every month.
